Hi, New to the Forum -New to MG's 1st question

I say run her a while like that. I don't disagree with any of the above, but until I ran her a while like she is, I wouldn't go fiddling with the adjustments. If it is running rich while in the garage, that is not unusual because she probably is not getting warmed up to operating temp there. I would check the fuel pressure to make sure it is not too high, but those dang Webbers are miserable to get right. I also agree with the SU conversion idea!

If she runs great on the road...get her out on the road more and don't worry about the smoke in the garage JMHO

Bruce,thanks for the advise. I have put 200 miles on it in less than a week, so it shows this in and out of the garage.

I have no personal preference for Webber or SU, but I thouht the SU has their share of problems too.
