Hi new member with steering and suspension problem

Hi I have a 1975 MGB GT which I am restoring. So far I have done the brakes and now moving onto suspension and steering. The thing with the steering is that when you turn it all the way to the left it hits the anti-roll bar link. But when turned to the right it hits full lock without any problems.

Then there's the front left suspension which is stiffer than the front right, ie it hardly bounces.

Any sugestions so I can get it to pass its MOT would be greatly appreciated.

Two things prob.

1. You have a bad shock on right side, yep, hardly bounces is correct. PeterC does shocks if you need his assistance. See https://www.nosimport.com/

2. Obviously your steering rack is not centerd when the wheels are straight aheaad ie the PDO screwed things up. Rack must be straight ahead when attached to the wheels then wheels aligned with the tie rod adjustments. Then when wheels straight ahead align the steering wheel.
