Hi; I recently purchased a set of Su HIF 6 carbs for my baby and would like to install a set of K&N Air filters , Any info would help, also the needle s type ( if you'd had any experience) would be helpfull /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF

Welcome aboard, arcsparks. I voted for the K&Ns because they are just great filters. By the way what is your baby? Mine are spitfires a MkII and a 1500.

Oh geez, the first & only vote for stock filters... those would be AC Filters BTW.

They work great -- probably prevent anything larger than a BB from getting sucked into the intake. Since this car is your "baby" I suspect you will want the K&Ns.

Have K&N on my TR4a and on Spitfire, make sure you have clearance, they may be close to the inner fender. Various types are available, tapered might be best.
Simon.

I run K&N's on everything I own, including the race cars. The only way to fly!
