I'm a lover of oldtimers, with a preference for British cars.
In my younger years, I was a fan of US cars, I owned two Corvettes, a Pontiac Formula 400, whereas my daily driver was an Austin Morris 1300 ADO16 two door sedan.
I did all the repairs on it myself, and that is (I believe) where the love for British cars started!
Today, I own a 1976 Triumph Spitfire I bought many years ago, but only finishing the restoration I started in 2014 now.
Beside it, I drive a 1958 AH Sprite MK I, a Frogeye, which needs a respray, as it is still with its original 1958 paint!

I will retire soon to start my new career as a so called full time restorer

Have all fun with your car(s)!
Mike

Hallo Mike! Gruss aus Connecticut! Hi Mike - greetings from Connecticut!

Have to admit, I got into old-timers by helping my dad work on family cars in the 1950s. Nash, Dodge, even MB pontons. On a visit to Ticino, I saw a man working on a TR6 in Peccia. Great car!

Good to have you with us!

History: 1975 MGB, 1959 TR3, 1958 Nash, 1958 M-B 220S, 1957 Morris Traveller.

Thank you guys for that friendly welcome! Still some work to do until I will be back on the road again...
Need to replace the king pins on the front axle of my Frog in order to pass the Swiss MOT 😬
But it's too cold in my workshop right now, around 5 °C, can't do that work with frozen fingers...

Welcome to the British Car Forum!
I would be wearing shorts at 5c.
Currently it’s -10c here in Pennsylvania and dropping tonight.
You have some nice cars! Hopefully it will warm up soon so you can get back to your workshop.
