Hello, I’m President of the MG Car Club of South Australia and I’ve just bought a 1975 MGB rubber nose to complement my HS+EV Hybrid. Lot more fun. The B is a former Californian car so no rust, reasonable mechanically for its age but needing some TLC internally. My first priority is to give every inch a detailed clean using the best products I can find and taking my time, no need to rush. Then I’ll see what I’ve bought and any shortcomings. Keen to receive any advice and thoughts on a way forward. Being a LHD to RHD conversion there are some holes in the dash and console where lights and switches used to be…my short term plan was to buy blanking plugs just to tidy up while I did more important things but I’d appreciate other thoughts. If you’ve been through something similar in a similar car I’d be pleased to hear from you. Cheers, Stephen Marlow.
