Hi everyone,
I purchased a 1971 MGB just by chance, actaully looking for an older Porsche to rebuild. But this was in the paper and my wife fell in love with the '71. So I listened. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Anyway glad to be on board.

Cheers!

Welcome, Eric...several years ao, I sent a door to a guy in PR who was restoring his MGB - wonder if its yours?

Welcome, I am a newbie today also.
Post some pics of your B when you get a chance!

Tony,
I don't think it was this MG, but you never know. Glad to hear someone that will ship here. It would be interesting to know who you shipped it to. It is a small island.
I will be looking for a fender soon though. Let me know what you have.

Shane, pic is attached.

Hi Erik,
Wecome nice looking car. Saw what you wrote about a porsche Years ago I bought a 356B connvertible for $500. Didn't have the time or the money to fix it up - can you immagine what it must be worth now. Now have a little more time and monet so I got a '69 B Lots of fun and a little frustration but worth it in the end.

Erik, welcome to the forum. It is a small island, but it's a beautiful one. I spent some time in Mayagüez at the university there - met a lot of great people etc etc. The tree frogs were fascinating.

It seemed like everybody had a "cousin" who ran a small neighborhood bar. Some were in garages, some in more commercial areas, and a couple on stilts over the water. But they were all excellent fun.

An MGB seems like a good car for the area.

Welcome...Nice B....must be a hoot to cruise around PR with a car like that....
