Hi, I’m a new member on the forum and as is custom a few words to introduce myself,

I’m retired and have a long held interest in British sports cars of the fifties and sixties (not that this gives my age away!).

I acquired a Jensen 541 from 1957 a few years ago that needed a full restoration and am slowly coming to the end of the journey, along the way I have found the increasing amount of know how and experience that people like us share on forums to have been invaluable.

The Jensen shares many parts with other cars of the era so I hope that I may be able to add a little to that know how over time

I never understand that comment :smile:
I live in France and have a mixture of RHD and LHD cars and I don't have a problem when driving.
I have a 1937 Rosengart (french) which is RHD.
Occasionally I reach for a gear lever that isn't there!!

Welcome the the British Car Forum. The 541 is one beautiful Jensen!
You can't be too far away from the British Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon... That is also a wonderful resource if you need help with your restoration. It's an outstanding museum to spend the day!
