Hey everyone,

I just picked up my first TR6. I have a couple of Triumph motorcycles (2003 and 1969) and I have always loved the cars. So I broke down and bought one last month.

It seems like it is in pretty good shape but of course it has a little rust and the interier needs some work.

Welcome, Jack...I'm thinknig new Triumph bike - what would you recommend?

Hi Tony,

Depends what you want. I have a speedmaster. It is more of a cruiser. If you want something that is traditionally retro, the bonnevilles are great, resonable in price and a lot of fun to ride. The new scrambler is a neat throw back to the TR6 of old.

Now if you want something sexy, the Daytona 675 is incredible.

I'm thinkin a Bonnie - a few years old.

YOu should be able to get a pretty good deal on one...especially since all of the new ones are 865cc. The 790's should be a little cheaper now.

The tangerine and white is beutiful.

Hi Basil,

The america is a great bike, it is pretty much the same as the speedmaster but more chrome and a little more of a classic look (spoked wheels) The new 2007's are going to have a blacked engine and mag wheels, so they are losing a little of the charm (imo)

You might want to check out www.bonnevilleamerica.com. It is a great board with a lot of friendly people.

Ohhhhh, I like that model bike
