Well I've finally managed a few moments for introductions. My name is Terry Marr and I'm from Va. Until yesterday I didn't have a British car but am now the proud owner of a 79 B. The car is mostly original (except dual SUs) and has about 79k on the clock. It was purchased in Scotland and I'm the third owner. Some minor issues but they're fixable. The info here was a great help in evaluating the car prior to purchase.

Thanks,

T.

WELCOME! & CONGRATULATIONS!! I love my '79 MGB (actually have 2 of them)....drop on over to the MG Forum & give us some photos...

Welcome!

I have a very nice '69 MGB I bought not long ago.
I intend to do some mechanical work on it soon and hope to be driving it on the road a bit this Summer.

Since your's was an original Scottish car, is it right hand drive?

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

Thanks for the welcome folks, I'll post some photos on the MG forum as soon as I have them a reasonable size.
