Hi all! just thought id introduce myself here, Im Tom..21 a senior in college... from over in Henniker, NH and this is a terrific site and i am looking forward to spending some time here. I just detailed a 75 MGB for a friend and im selling it in the classifields for him. i grew so much closer to British cars after spending hours with that car....his neighbor as quite the collection including a Triumph TR3) I have gone to the British Invasion car show in stowe (drooled at the cars) for about 9 years now, (parents are British and they have a few old land rovers..dad had many minis before he was in England till he moved to the US at 26)

Anyhow I am on the look for my second British car with my summer money, (im rebuilding the engine in my range rover classic...to..doh!) and I have my eye on the Triumph Spitfire...seems like a great Car to start out with. Any ideas as far as that goes?
Best,

Tom

Welcome Tom!

Spitfires, MGBs, or Spridgets are probably your best bet for a first Brit sports car.

I was just up in your state two weeks ago at the ~New Hampshire Vintage Celebration~. Lots of neat stuff to drool at there.

Anway, G'luck with your search!

Welcome to the Best Forum on the net, and not just the car ones. Be sure to post some photos of the car you are selling, and stop by the Pub for a few when you get a chance. Good luck on the sale and then finding your own LBC.
Enjoy the Ride.

Hi There Tom,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best Brit car Forum by far from the Pocono Mtns of PA (Hopefully soon to be from "UPSTATE, SC"!

Who out there is looking to buy a really nice house for next to nothing??????????

Your idea on a "Spit" is an excellent one! Easy to work on / Part availability is more than adequate / "START-UP" cost is reasonable (Please note: "START-UP COST")!!!!!!!

Best Wishes & don`t forget to introduce yourself to all the nice folks on the "Spridget" forum.

Regards, Russ
