Does the 240 volt spot welder that HF sells have a timer/temp control on it for consistent welds? PJ
 
Only timer is your brain. I've seen them work and they do a decent job. Unfortunatly for going thru 3 thicknesses of metal it's a pain. My preference is punch holes and plug weld, at least you know the kind of strength your going to get.
