That sounds like a fun trip! Can you tell us more yet? I'd love to see photos if you get the chance. Let's see, MG, rare, K2 Magnette by chance?

More information Saturday night/Sunday if it pans out...could be nothing...could be a gem...you never know until you open the shed door.

I printed the listing and showed to my other half....told her I'd sell the Mini in a country minute to get it....she said it IS kind of cute.....hmmmmmmmm

I feel like a kid in a candy shop...just did a spontaneous on the Morris I bought from Turky's and now I'm foaming at the mouth.....very very sweet!

How is that little van coming along?

Suppose to arrive sometime this weekend...thought a carrier was coming down the road this A.M. so I got the hard part out of the way (the wife knows). I'm actually pretty excited to work on this one....can do what I want to do without worrying about original investment. I'm going to go ahead with copying the traveller and woodieesize it. I'll have to make all the wood trim since the kits only fit the traveller but that's OK....a finished kit runs $2,700..
That'll cover lots of my labor and suds building it...

Keep us appraised of your progress via photos - I've always thought a nice woody panel van would be nice.

Tony...well???

also somebody other than crazy me (unless somebody wants me to divert that Morris V I just bought to their house) needs to bid on that Morris Z to figure out what his reserve is...any guesses???

See my 1949 MG YT Tourer post in the MG Forum.

BTW: I checked with them on estimated shipping....$2400 (estimated)....doesn't leave me much pocket change for a BID..!!!

Does ais reserve anybody know what his reserve is?

anybody know much about the wheels on this Z....would the lug pattern work on a 70 Morris 1000 and where would one even locate a set?

You could buy the car, swap the wheels & resell it...hehehehe

there's an idea...I wonder if this guy would want to have back a long lost Postal Carrier from New Zealand in a swap...who knows I may have a missing heritage!..

plus found out today due to no show ove the weekend...it's still sitting down at Turky's in Texas...wouldn't start due to wire off the coil when trucker arrived and they left without it...good thing it is a planned winter project..Bad thing my TR3 probably gets ignored AGAIN!!!

Another reason I'm leery to have cars transported! Once the seller has his money, he's out of it...& the transporter doesn't care until its on his truck.
