Just signed up, but have had a love of LBC's since I was a little kid, when my dad had a 1946 MG TC shipped across the pond. I plan on restoring that beauty from my childhood as soon as I'm done with my currect frame-off project, a '76 TR6. My TR has been in pieces for quite some time now, and my wife has issued the ultimatum: Get it running on its own power before we move next year, or she's going to have it towed (and by that she means not to our new home). Yikes! A fun & challenging ultimatum indeed, so here goes. I have it in rolling chassis form, and am currently tearing down the block. I am sure I will have a million ?'s about how to get some of the bits back together, etc., so bear with me.

My daily driver is a Honda S2000, which is fun and a half in itself, but can't wait to get my TR, and eventually that MG up and going again...

Nice to have you Sleepy! I know what you’re going through. I have been tearing down my TR6. I have found a good mechanic and painter in the Orange area if you want any help. Welcome.

I'm only a couple miles from you then! If you need to see a TC for reference when you're putting yours back together, feel free to stop by. There are also a couple good M.G. clubs in the area.
