..I'm thinking about changing the 85mph speedo in my 380SL with a 160mph speedo from a 450SL - do you see any problems?

I don't think there will be a problem with the swap, but some research into the specific 450 diff ratio compared with the 380 would tell you quick. I ~think~ they're the same or close enuff.

If it'll work with the same speedo cable, and it's geared right, I don't see any problems.
