I'm just wondering how the British Car Forum might affect the new Classic Autosport Magazine (Formerly British Car Magazine). Being that this forum represents enthusiasts from all marques, maybe we can have a positive affect. What do you think? Just curious.

Remains to be seen what this will mean. I will tell you that I don't intend to make this a general car forum. BCF is, and will remain, dedicted to British cars. That being said, I hope we will be able to continue the relationship we now have with the British Car magazine as it makes the transistion. Probably half our current members found us from our ads in BC Mag, which are provided free in return for the forum we provide.

Gary seems to promise that the focus will remain on British cars. If that is the case, all will be well. Even here, the non-british cars sometimes sneak in and are properly branded "other cars". As long as the former BCM maintains that spirit it will be fine. But the issue where the british cars become the "other cars" will be my last. And that will have no effect on my enjoyment here.

For the record, I found BCM through the Forum. Not that it matters, I enjoy them both.

I think that the lack of the word "British Car" in the title implies an opt out clause.
But .. we shall see .. personaly, I liked the old name.
