I am going to be at the Fall Meet of the AACA in Hershey next week, possibly Friday & Saturday - Oct 7 & 8. Weather permitting. I am bringing extras from my collection, including
"S" originals and repo pieces
"S" disc brake booklets
"M" tuning booklets
owners manuals
shop manuals
repair times and charges booklets
postcards
period magazines with healey reviews - 1953 to 1967
1955 Life magazine with DMH endorsement of Lord Calvert
almost all the various "100 to 3000" variations of the sales literature pieces.
I also have the Nash Healey balsa models and the Strombecker motorized items. I will be sorting things out over this weekend to see what other goodies I have in the storage locker - basement.
These are items I have collected over the years and I thought I would try sell some painlessly, before going on to EBAY. These items may not be priced cheap, but you will be able to touch and feel before you buy.

Please contact me at BN4_2porthead@hotmail.com for field location with your needs and wants
thanks - Jim Lesher /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

"Weather permitting." I thought hip waders were always required for Hershey. I still have that Pa. mud in my shoes from the one time I went!

Re: Hershey - Austin Healey Literature & Models Sa

Peter - I saw your great looking car at Conclave in Winston-Salem. Congratulations at Encounter, I couldn't make it because of vacation. Good Luck at Hershey. I am not aware of anything specific for a black 63, but I will be checking over the weekend - jim /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Re: Hershey - Austin Healey Literature & Models Sa

"Weather Permitting" - there is not much that can be done about the rain, but they have just about solved the mud problem. Most of the fields today are all macadam.
But I remember one year in the good old days in the late 60's and early 70's. We had the normal 4 days of rain. and the AACA officials got a WWII Army "halftrack" loaded with hay bales - which were thrown out to the vendors who were told to use them to dry out the mud ?? - those were the days?? - jim

Re: Hershey - Austin Healey Literature & Models Sa

"Hershey Conclusion" - thanks to all those who made it thru the rain - there are some true diehards or ???
the motto for AACA event was " The past comes alive in 2005" - how true it was, with 3 - 5 inches of rain. very few Healeys on the field but a 61 "Kurt Tanner" restoration?? sold for 54k. I have pics and others listed - if interested please contact me privately to send pics thru snapfish
