Heritage Certificates and Vintage Tax Disks

I just had a chance to visit the Heritage Motor Centre motoring museum in Warwickshire, England which is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars.

Their Archive service offers Heritage Certificates which have the build and dispatch details for a given car based on the car's VIN. A pretty neat item to display with your car. They also offer vintage Tax Disks which are a neat detail to add to one's car.

The museum is 45 minutes down the road from me. Originally built to house the cars built by the various incarnations of Austin, Morris, BMC, BL and other marques that were consumed by these companies as they grew, merged and acquired each other. They have just anounced a multi-million pound expansion plan to house the Jaguar collection as well (which has not been on public display for some years since 'The Jag' left their Browns Lane complex for more modern premises).
