I'm thinkin' there's a bit of chicanery in these ads. That engine in the last one hasn't a chain tensioner adjuster in place, no pin for the tensioner, no water pump, meaning: that engine is a shell... Any trace of the Webers? Not much IN the thing, but the external bits are there. The number plate is obscured, belying true 'heritage'...

It screams SCAM to me. Mebbe I'm wrong, mebbe not. But it <span style="font-style: italic">smells</span>, IMO. And for $50+ it is well overpriced.

...but I'm th' guy who advocated buyin' rail stock in 1968. Just ahead of "Conrail".

I hope th' suc... err... proud new owner has some DEEP pockets.
 
Me too, Doc! If it was a real press car, there's be no need to be coy about the Reg No.

Why is it on standard suspenssion? I reckon it could be a standard Escort with some empty TC castings.
