TR2/3/3A Here's a survivor TR3B...

It appears to be a very fine example.

The label 'survivor' may be misplaced since (as often occurs in listings for 'very original cars') they go on to tell about the new interior, new top & tonneau, paint respray, non-standard carbs, restored side curtains, etc.

Nevertheless, looks every inch a nice TR3B even if you discount the claims of 'survivor' & 'never restored'.

I missed the new interior part...the respray is pretty normal...but I agreee the 'survivor' label may not be appropriate in this case.
 
Hi Folks;

I Inquired relative to the Color; "White or Old English White"?

Response was: "Seems that the Car was "Re-Painted Spa White" as per the Hert. Cert. but the Engine Bay seems to be "Old English White" or a Creamy Yellow Color - Faded or What is Un-Known:

She does look nice; Don`t She!

Clearly the engine bay was repainted, and none to carefully.

I do not have the listing up now but thinking back to this morning I recall they managed to paint the rubber clip that holds the hood prop at rest and get paint on the big steering column grommet. Probably other issues if one cared to look closely.

Well I am 10 miles from Boulder, so if any of you are real serious, I can go have a look, take some photos. Note though at $12.5k it has not met the reserve.
But I agree, if the guys as Kats say it is "Obscenely Original", they missed quite a lot of obvious work.

However, the Quote "It passed strict Colorado emissions in 2007", is completely misleading, please note it has collector tags. These are renewed once every 5 years and the "strict emissions" is a tailpipe test at idle and stationary 2000 rpm only to sort out "gross polluters". With collector tags, it NEVER needs another emission test as long as the ownership does not change, even if you change the engine. Modern cars in Colorado front range counties undergo a full driving dyno test through all gears up to 60 mph to strict new car emission percentages.
