Here is an idea for a side business

Interesting, I think that I saw an advertisement for that on TV. It had my attention then as well.

The machine is made by CarveWright for Sears. If you click on the link, you will find a ton of info including demos. It looks like it wood (pun intended) do the job on dash boards, except for the glove box door. I guess the way to approach that is to make a seperate door, and then veneer the whole dash and door and use a veneer saw to cut out where the holes are and around the sides. You want the wood grain on the door to match the rest of the dash.

It's really quite a machine.
