Just caught the flight of F-16's goin' for a "low-n-slow" over the 'RayJay' stadium. "Outback Bowl" is now under way.

BOTHER! Gonna be tied goin' into second half... Unca Joe still limpin'... BAH!

Been a while since I watched a Bowl game... looks like they're mostly openly corporate sponsored commercials now...
AT&T Cotton Bowl
Capital One Bowl
Toyota Gator Bowl

I think I'll keep watching the Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

20-10 Penn State!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

I'm less than five miles from RayJay. The F-16's went OVER here on their way... I refuse to PAY for TV when I only watch a few channels anyhow, so had to LISTEN to it onna radio.

But I sat here inna garage in my Nittany Lions sweatshirt and it was almost like the "old days" with KDKA!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I fondly recall driving around State College PA one night after a big bowl game. The whole town was one big frat party.
I stopped at a red light and some dude asked if he could get a lift in the back of my 85 Toyota Pickup for a block or two. I said "sure" and the next thing I know there musta been 10 guys in the bed! We drove down the frat row a way, and then they all piled out in front of a big house with a TON of people in the front yard. The guy that had asked for the ride then stuck his head in the truck, said thanks, and handed us each a beer.
Cool town... Go PSU!!!

ewww... a Rolling Rock, morelike. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Yep... but it used to be a "local" one around State College, PA. Astounding it has gone the way it has, frankly. I can even get it here now. Still waitin' for the "corner tavern" to show up though. Fish sandwhich, basket of fries and a RR... ain't likely.

went to PSU for a couple years (79-81) ... never forget it once you're there ... i also felt joepa's pain sitting in the both. good to see him get the win.
