Yesterday a friend and I rebuilt the rear suspension of my '63 Herald. As I had reported recently it had a serious positive camber condition. We installed a 3/4" aluminum spacer block under the spring and replaced all the bushings. Also added a camber compensator supplied by Joe Curry. Now have nearly neutral camber and much more effective tire footprint. The spacer block did lower the rear but as it was jacked up it leveled the heighth perfectly. The 175/7013 Avid T4s on the minilites fill the wheel wells nicely. No rubbing. As it was spitting snow when we got done last night I was only able to move it enough to settle the suspension. I am sure the camber compensator will be an effective upgrade. Now on to the dash and wiring.
