Just happened upon this picture. It appears as though there is a plate on the bottom of the hold down bracket. Is that correct? (there was nothing left of mine to go by)

My battery sits right on the deck. Here's what's left of the old and the new hold down. I guess I need to add a bottom plate? Also wonder if there is supposed to be a lip on the aft end.

If you are talking about the bottom or floor of the battery tray, my guess is that is a rubber mat the battery sits in, that is how my TR250 was anyway.

Thanks all. The picture in the link that Matt sent is quite conclusive. One little job that I don't need to do. No worries, I've got plenty of others.
