Hemmings Cruise In

I went to the Hemmings Cruise In last night.
It started at 5PM,& ended around 9.The weather
was incredible (around 80 degrees),as were the
cars.
I got to meet 3 of the staff of the Sports-
-& Exotic publication.Nice enthusiasts that drive
some interesting (mostly British)cars.
There were a number of British cars there -
a couple of TDs,an MGA,an '82 Morgan +8,a GT6+-
- (Hemmings staff writer),a TR7.Oh yeah,there were
a few American cars there too!Over 200 total.If you
get a chance to go to one of these - do it!
On the way back at the top of the pass I hit
a lightening storm,& then drove thru a Florida type
rain storm.Try that on a two lane mountain road
sometime.

They always looked like they would be great events...maybe some day!

Sorry you won't get to America On Wheels this trip.

My last time in Vermont and New Hampshire we had to back track after our Subaru Legacy could not make it over one mountain road and we decided to change our route to the south and then west. I also ended up using major highways instead of my preferred two-lane roads.

on the backroads!I'd go in a heartbeat if it wasn't so far/time/-

...if Fagin was not back in the shop. Lord Lucas attacked this week, and we hoped that a new voltage regulator would get the system back up, but after driving about one city block the red light was back on on the dash. I will be calling the shop again this week to see if they have found the gremlin yet. And this now that we have good weather here too.
