Help with missing part

While I was driving home my Spitfire from buying it, I had the air filter come off and didn't realize it. I need to determine what I need to get. Since I am not sure what I had to begin with I was needing some help.

Here is a picture of the Stomberg Carb and what I have left:

I was looking at ordering one from here but I only see the K&N filters that look like they will fit. I don't need one that expensive, but the cheaper ones aren't round or say they will fit a 79. I haven't been able to find any others that look like they will work either. Any links will be appreciated.

Just kidding. I have a couple air cleaners from my 77, but they are a different style to that.

You can just buy any aftermarket air cleaner assy for a Zenith-Stromberg 150 carb.

I know this must be a Silly Statement but Have You checked with "Moss Motors"?

I just looked at the VB page you linked to. The VB part# 9-113 should fit.

The key point for a generic air cleaner is the type of carb...I believe you have a ZS 150CD pictured there.

I have a spare similar to #9-1084 on that same page. You can HAVE it if you want it. Drop me an email lendawg1<at>comcast.net.

I thought that 9-113 looked right to me too. It just lists it as a 66-73 part only. I have to order a few other parts anyway so I will call them and get one of those too. Thanks guys for all of your help.

I could be mistaken, but that plate sure looks like an aftermarket air cleaner to me; the kind with a washable foam element. The posts look too close to the outside for a paper element filter to fit in there.

I've got some bits, but they are for 175/H6 carbs and likely won't fit a 150.
