Does anyone know where inside the distributor the ignition wire is attached that goes to the coil? I am replacing an ignitor with a set of points and I dont know how to connect the wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
The negative from the coil goes to the external lead on the distributor. Check your email.

and the external lead on the distributor goes to the nut on the pivot of the points. Just make sure to put the wire UNDER the plastic washer, or the wire will be permenantly grounded and you won't get any "pulse"
