I am trying to remove the bracket on the firewall that the hoses attach to. The screws have been removed but it does not want to budge. Any suggestions. I want to take it off to prep for paint. Thanks

Not sure what they call that part, but you are talking about that passthrough pipe on the bulkhead, right? If so, all you do is pull the screws, and pull the hoses off both sides. If still stuck, tap it lightly and it should come off. Probably just stuck on the gasket, maybe from a prior paint job? As long as you are taking it apart, you may want to check its condition, mine was so corroded it was at the point of failure and replacement is easy.

Just an add on to Randy's reply those, parts are readly available through the big 3 and not too terribly expensive.

Good Luck, Tinkerman

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help.
I got it off and am ordering a new one.
This board is awesome!
The paint is original so it was just being stuborn as it has never been off.
