Need help identifying an Austin Healey Club Grille Badge that was sent to me sometime ago. I asked almost everyone I could in Lake Tahoe in 2002 with no luck. Bob
Though the post said that there were six attachments I only could view one small picture, and what an unusual badge that is! When I enlarged the picture I lost much of the detail so please give some help on the images--On the top bar there seems be a ship, then a fish, then a word (B-A-B-Y?) and then something I could not make out. Please fill in the blanks and describe the detail.
Only sent one photo of the badge. Will best describe it as much as I can.
Top row: Three yellow ??? on red background
Next row: Yellow boat with what looks like a rudder
Next row: Grey Fish on Blu Background
Next row: Three green flowers or leaves on yellow background
Bottom row: Grey mountains on Red background
Don't feel bad. No one has come up with a country so far. I even showed to the folks at the 2002 International Healey Meet, and no one could recognize it. Still hoping though.
Looking at the colours on each side of the badge, red white and red, displayed vertically. These are the colours of the Peruvian flag. Latvia has similar colours, but their flag has three horizontal stripes. Looking at the design on the shield, I would say that it was Peruvian.
