Help! Stupid Half-Tonneau Question

So I decided to spring for a half-tonneau from Moss for the TD. It's very well made, but I'm stumped about one aspect of installation. I'm hoping y'all can give me some advice. I know I can call Moss, but I trust you all more!

Anyway, you can see from the attached photo that there are three elastic straps on the leading edge of the tonneau. They're terminated with lift-the-dot fasteners. I'm assuming the I should install a couple of lift-the-dot posts somewhere in the boot (area behind the seat) to fasten them, but I'm not sure if there is a "standard" place to install them, or if I'm totally off-base.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Marty

I believe they actually wrap around the hood sticks and get fastened on some of the same "lift-a-dot" fasteners around the back of the car the tonneau snaps to,underneath the back edge of the tonneau . it keeps the boot open for storage

Yea,you're right. They keep the tonneau wrapped snug aroung the folded hood. That does keep the front edge from flapping, but it also keeps the cover from hanging down and getting in the way of what little storage space is available.
