Help! Stromberg fuel leak

I rebuilt my CD2 Strombergs on my '74 TR6. My front carb is leaking fuel out of the float chamber vent (lots of fuel). I made sure that the floats tabs were contacting the Grose jets.
What could be causing this condition? I need to drive the car tomnorrow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Steve: Double check your float height. Here are some links to a good illustrated guide:

Also check that the floats are not damaged, i.e. have a hole that fills them with fuel, so that they sink.
