Many of you know about the BusterCluster last year, brain child of Ron Soave. Some really great people gathered for 3 days to help Buster Evans assemble his restoration project (1960 Austin Healey Sprite). Twenty three super Spridgeteers from all over the US took part and the British magazine Practical Classics recently did a 4 page spread on the event.
The same magazine is now running a contest asking people to vote on their favorite reader-restoration project (one published each month) of the year via email. While all the projects are certainly deserving, we'd sure like to see the BusterCluster Sprite project win and you can help. Just send an email as follows:
To: <pc.competition@emap.com>
Subject: Favorite Reader-Restoration
Text: 1960 BusterCluster Austin-Healey Sprite
There is a prize for the winner and Buster has most generously offered (minus taxes, etc) to donate it (if the BusterCluster Sprite wins) to the 50th Anniversary Celebration treasury to help make the event even
better.
Many thanks in advance for your participation. It wouldn't hurt to forward this message to all your other lists too in order to help the cause. This is for the good of the marque.
