I have a E93AF/A #C369047 English build Prefect.
On this one the grill bars run up and down, have not seen one like this. Any help would be great Thanks.

Hi Smokey. I have a '48 E93A #C356528. Its good to hear from another Prefect owner. Your grille sounds more like it belongs on a E493A, the next later model. Are your headlights set into the front fenders like the photo that Bibber posted above? If so then it is a E493A, '50-'53 I think. The grille for the E93A has horizontal bars with a single vertical in the center. I do have one but it is not on the car yet.

I am looking for a grill Ford Prefect 1938 to 1948
Horizonal bars with center bar. Any help or info. will be great

Hey Smokey, all I can do is wish you a lot of luck. It took me about 30 years to find one although I wasn't looking full time. Finally another local guy made a trip to New Zealand and brought one back for me from there. I thought it was a good deal at $350 even though it does need a little work.

Ahh, one of my favorite fictional characters was named Ford Prefect.

He thought our planet was populated with cars and that his name would allow him to blend in and be less noticed...
