Hello Everyone,

I need help identifying the car in the attach picture. I think it's a 1926 Sunbeam Saloon but I am not very familiar with British cars so any help would be much appreciated. Please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place for I am new to this site also. Thanks in advance..

Doug

Hi Mickey,

Thank you for taking the time to reply and the pictures too. It does look like Sunbeam don't you think? I would of thought the hood ornament would give it away. Haven't found one quite like though...

You're welcome!

The hood ornament, along with the medallion below it may be the key. Again, stand by, as I'm sure someone else will contribute.

Have you tried a European Sunbeam Club?

Ther car below is a Sunbeam 14/40 from the 1920s.

The grill and oval shaped emblem seem similar. Also, it's hard to tell, but the radiator cap area may have similar "wings" atop it. T

he headlights are located differently, but fenders sedem at least somewhat similar.

Is this a car in your family?

Thank you both for your replies. @LarryK I could find any trace of the EuropeanSunbeam club online.

The picture is of this car also includes my great Uncle William. I thought if I could date the car I would have a better idea what year this was taken. Comparing the 2 pictures I would say the the car in my pictures is a very early 1920's Sunbeam Saloon car while your picture aeronca65t, I think is later model 1920's sunbeam saloon car. I thank you very much for taking the time to post it.
