My current wheels are in bad shape, replacing tires too. Putting on Vredstein Quatrac 3 size 205/70-15 and considering VTO wheels, particularly this one. Stuck in analysis paralysis. Anyone have this setup? Alternate thoughts?

Coincidentally, this link was just posted on the Triumph email list:

Carroll Shelby Wheels

I run a set of period alloys on my TR4 (JAPearce, not Shelby) but enjoy seeing the wheels from back in the day and especially something different from what everybody else has.

I actually think the std. wheels on a TR6 are outstanding.....but then they are such an improvement over my BE stock wheels....to I changed to VTO. Scott in CACIMG2050a.jpg

I know the VTO wheels are good but they remind me of Chevy Vega wheels. Just not my taste. Minilites or AR's look correct to me.

:iagree: Any one of the Minilite clones look right on the TR4/6. For the TR3s I prefer the look of wires.

Hi Bruce,

Did you get the wheels from "Hap" @ "Acme Speed Shop"? Just curious.
