Help IDing a car in London

A friend emailed me this photo asking me to try and help him figure out what kind of car this is. This is the information he sent along:

It looks like an Austin, but the body could be from one of a number of coachbuilders.

I'll see what I can find.....

Number plate looks like LL followed by four numbers. LL prior to 1965 was a north London registration.

I have been informed that this could be a Morris Minor, of 1927 vintage. The Temperature gauge on top of the radiator is an indication that it's a Morris.

It does look a lot like this 1928 Morris

Edit: Changed my picture up one model year because of the previous large picture.

That's definitely a Morris Monor, by the looks of it about a 1930 model. Have a look:
