help identifying hard top

I got a 62 midget today with a 948 in it. Any way, it has a removable hard top on it that seems to line up pretty good up at the front of the car and looks to be the right height but it is too long. What I mean is it sits too far back on the body when it is lined up with the windshield. Does anyone have a clue what it might be for?
I know its hard to do with out seeing pics but I figure someone might have an idea.

Most likely a Bugeye.
