Help - ground wire in distributor question

Hey all,
Installing a Petronix ignitor in my BN6 and have a question -
the rather flimsy, almost hair like wire is the ground wire,
correct ? Mine is in seemingly poor condition and the Petronix kit
includes a new one. The old one connected to
one end of the condenser and to the base plate if my memory
serves me right - should have taken a picture !!!!! So
with the Petronix, they say to make sure to put the ground wire back in
but where does the other end connect now that the
condenser is gone ? Going to call them too but maybe one of
y'all can help.
Thanks,
Mike

The Advance plate is on plastic sliders and need to be grounded to one of the two screws holding the base plate in place.
So, one screw on the advance plate and one screw on the base plate. Make sure that it not interferes with the advance weights and rotor.

Mr.JAJA

Thanks JAJA ! I called the Petronix techline and they gave me the same info.
Got it running and good to go !

Mike
