Driving home after about 25 miles suddenly temp gauge pegged at Hot and steam all over the place. Opened the bonnet and coolant all over the engine. No hose breaks (refilled). Please tell me this might be nothing more than a stuck thermostat! MGB has definitely developed a miss, too, since then.

Not many places it can blow like that other than hoses, radiator, heater valve & water pump
