Hi, I'm Bill, a 42 year old Mechanic and father of 2 boys. We live in western Canada. I have loved British cars ... I guess all my life. I own a few Minis including a Cooper S (1969) and a 1962 wagon. I have some rust piles that once were Mk 2 spitfires, and recently aquired a 1958 Morris Isis.

I have had a number of jobs, includingnearly 20 years working in Radio as a broadcasterm but recently (4 or 5 years ago) hung up the microphone and became a full time mechanic.

Nice little collection, that Isis of yours is quite rare these days, I don't think there are many of them left now here in Canada. Then again who cares? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Maybe a few folks do... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And of course Mini's are totally cool, but not as cool as an Isis... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/square.gif Is your Mini a woody wagon or steel wagon?

This Isis was for sale near my house here in NJ a while back. I even posted a note about it with contact info in case anyone was interested. As you can see, the asking price was $1850 (USD). It seemed to be in decent shape. It's gone now.

One funny thing about this car: it was right-hand drive and had the gearshift moved to the right side (between the seat and the door). An unusual arrangement!
