Newbie here. Located near Ottawa Canada. 73B. 12,000 original miles, body fair (poor accident repair) everything else better than average. Makes one cry to remember how simple things mechanical were in the dark ages (no Lucas pun intended).

Hello, Norm - welcome!

Norm, welcome here.

Sorry to hear about the poor repair.

Welcome, I am also in Ontario....theres a few of us around here. Lets see some pics!

Please excuse my lack of acknowledgement to your notes, immediately after joining my CPU hard drive crapped out. Now I am back I will take some new pictures of the B and post them.

We have ignored the dodgy repair in favour of getting the B back on the road. After the accident repair the owner did not want to drive so it was parked from 1975 to 2002 in a garage without long term storage routine. All of the suspension bushings, seals, brake and clutch cylinders engine seals accessible w/o removing the motor have all been replaced. The car has twin HS carbs and has been desmogged. It is now a good runner and we want to use it, so body restoration will be done slowly and piecemeal until it is time to repaint.

Thank you all for the welcome, I recognize a few folks from other boards, this has a good feel to it.

Norm
