I owned a ’73 Spitfire 1500 back in the late 70’s and drove it for 7 years, all year around! Even put snow tires and a makeshift ski rack on it! I can still hear those oversized snows bottoming out in the rear wheel wells! I rebuilt it using a parts car I picked up and remember ordering a new short block from somewhere in Indiana back in the day! My older siblings never never miss a chance to remind me that the parts car is buried in a gulley next to the old homestead! Wish I could go back and dig it up! At any rate, the bug never left, and I recently built a sizable shop with heat and A/C attached to my home to accommodate my many hobbies now that I’ve retired. Just “accidentally” won a ’70 MK III on BaT which is solid but needs an overhaul! Got it at a good price. Will be diving into it this fall after some home remodeling I need to get out of the way. Will need to source some parts and will be looking for advice!

Welcome and congrats on your "win!" You've come to the right place for help and advice snd just some fun.
