Hi all, I've been following BCF for some time and registered a while ago.....so I thought it time that I do as you encourage & introduce myself.
I emigrated to New Zealand in 1985 in my early 20's but originally I was from Birmingham, England where I did my engineering apprenticeship with Wilmot Breeden.....many of you will know the name as they made door locks, handles, window regulators etc. for all makes of cars but especially British ones.
I've always had an interest in cars & I guess a special place for British ones.
Currently in the shed and in various states of completion are a 1951 AC Buckland Tourer, a 1928 Austin 16/6 Tourer, a 1960 Bugeye Sprite & a 1972 Austin 1300 GT although the last two are actually my son's.

So long as I've done this correctly, the pictures should give you an idea.....the 1928 Austin is on the road and the AC is what I'm focused on at present as it's been a very, very long project!
Anyway, best wishes to you all in this Festive Season.
Regards
Mark

Hello Mark

Welcome to the forum.

You have a great collection of cars there. Are parts hard to find for the AC?

Merry Christmas.

Mark would love to connect with you. I have a 1950 and 1951 AC Buckland. My Grandad was I intimately involved in its design nd build at Buckland body works. I have a Facebook page dedicated to the marque. Would love to have you on it.
