Actually, I've had Cingular before it was Cingular and was Southwestern. For better than 10 years. And I can only rave about my service and the customer service. I've never had anything negative as far as they're concerned.
Why I spent two hours there is simple. I finally decided to get Chuck a cell phone (after being stranded twice for hours on the interstate in the past year) We have 2 plans, ours and Sarah's (which she pays for) So. I changed the plan to the $89 plan (minus Chuck's 15% discount) - it included 2 phones. Then I added another line for Chuck, and one for my mother (at $10 each) Is silly for my nearly 81 year old mother to pay $35 a month just for an emergency phone.
But. We also had to pick out 4 phones. I didn't have much problem, give me the cheapest phone that rings and dials. My mother wanted a flip phone (because she thinks they're cool) and that took a little time. Grabbed a cheap flip for Chuck (easy on, easy off, just lift or close the lid) Sarah, however, took a goodly while. Of course it takes her a goodly while to make ANY decisions. She's paying for the phone and the service so I really didn't care what she got. But all in all, by the time we did everything, activated all the phones and paid for it, was WELL over 2 hours.
Sorry you asked?
