I am in the process of restoring my father's 1965 TR4A. The car sat in a shed for the last 20 years, so needs everything. I have the car running, but long way to go. Originally white with red interior, my father painted the car red, including the engine compartment, in the 90s. I have pictures of me in the car as a teenager when car was white, but plan to stay with red due to cost and the fact that my father liked it red.
Thankfully the car spent the majority of its time in Texas, so its rust free.

I admire you keeping the color your dad chose. It's a member of the family, right?

If the TR "needs everything", then it sounds like most of our cars. Once you get working on something, you find a dozen other things that need tweaking, adjusting, or total replacement. Here's the Triumph forum, where you can post your questions and get *lots* of answers.
