Hello from Victoria BC!

Ok, a bit about me! I live in Victoria, BC Canada and have been around British cars my whole life. My dad is from the UK and came over with a passion for fixing up old cars and seems to have passed his disease on to me at a young age. I helped him restore a 1970 E-type and did my own restoration on a 1975 MGB when I was 14 to have as a daily driver when I turned 16. I've been a glutton for punishment ever since.

I now have a 1964 MGB that I've restored from a rolling chassis over the last 11 or 12 years and a 1969 Triumph GT6 that I picked up last summer that hadn't run since 1986. The MG is a daily driver in the summer and the GT6 is going to be for the spring & fall to extend the season a bit.

I'm in the process of re-assembling a TR6 engine to put into the GT6 and may have a few questions. This is the first time I've done a complete assembly without my dad's help (due to COVID restrictions). I'll be doing a quick overhaul on the gearbox and then putting it back in the car so the painting/assembly can be finished. Hopefully on the road this spring!

Thanks again for the add, I look forward to learning more from everyone!

Cheers,

Mike
