Hi everyone, my name is Randy. Yes, yes, I know - that's slang for "horny" in Britain. I've been told that several times by my British inlaws whenever we come to visit. It's gotten to the point where I've just started to introduce myself as Randall whenever I'm in the country. That usually saves me a lot of grief.

Anyway, I own a 2006 Pontiac Solstice (my pride and joy) and my wife drives a Mini-Coop (which is also the family car since it's somewhat larger than a Solstice). I love it though - it's a nice little car to drive. I'm an insurance agent for Progressive Auto Insurance and I my wife Jenifer is a teacher. I enjoy mostly outdoors type things - like camping, fishing, jogging, and I especially like climbing (which is how I met my wife incidentally :cz. Anyway, it's a pleasure to be a member of this forum and look forward to talking to everyone!

Welcome Randall,
I was considering a Solstice, but once I realized that it would not hold golf clubs, I decided to go for a driver (not the golf club) that I could also take to shows and opted for my TR3B.

You have definitely found the best resource for British cars here, and will also find a new community of friends.

Welcome, and Enjoy the Ride!

Welcome Randy!

A lot of us here have cars that are like "modern MGs"...I don't think you are the only Solstice owner.
And of course, there are many of us here with Z3s, Z4s, S2000s, Miatas, etc (I have a Miata).

We have a nephew that does rock climbing (he was in New Zealand for climbing a few months ago and is climbing in Austria right now...we read his blog all the time). All I can say is car racing looks pretty tame compared to climbing! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

Welcome, Randy..a friend recently bought a Saturn Sky red Line Edition turbo charged model & I got to drive it...WOW!!! All I can say is if I needed a modern toy, Sky or Solstice would be my choice.

Where in KY?

Hi There "RANDALL";

Whats that sound like? I, for one, did`nt know that "Randy" meant Horny:

Anyways, Welcome from the Pocono Mtns of PA:

I suspect by now you know there is a section here for cars other than British: Jump in and join the fun:

Regards, Russ

Hi Randy,

Welcome to the forums. You have a really nice selection of cars and you can add to the mix by providing a nice home for a Triumph one of these days. Yeah, I'm prejudiced, but I do admire that Solstice. What color is it?

Welcome Randy!!

I looked real hard at the Solstice and the Jeep
Wrangler 4X4.

The Solstice couldn't pull my boat so I bought
the Wrangler.

Welcome to the forum, you'll have a good time here.
I am repairing up a driven to death TR6.
