Hello,
Just a quick introduction, I’ve owned British cars (of course
) for some time.
I have a Triumph GT6 MK1 1968 (USA Car originally) almost completely restored, it was last on the road in 1978 in California!
My Wife has a 1972 MGBGT which has had only one previous owner, it’s an Aqua Blue colour so not overly common.
I also have a 1964 Series IIA Land Rover 88” which I am also lucky enough to be the second owner of too. They all keep me busy and the MGBGT and the Land Rover are drivable and enjoy getting driven.
I’m really really hoping to get the GT6 finally finished and on the road this year as I’ve owned it nearly 27 years, and for a number of reasons only now am I close to finally finishing the restoration.
There’s something about these old vehicles that makes you feel good ( most of the time) and they all have character, they are not super fast, or aerodynamic or sophisticated, they not the most reliable neither, but when you drive them, you have to drive them, when people see you driving them they always smile or wave and always attract positive attention. If only modern cars could do that …
Anyway I hope that introduction was okay
Cheers
