Hi new member here.
I've been around british cars most of my life and recently got a 76 mgb. My family has had Jaguars, Austin Healey and MG as far back as I can remember.

Currently in the middle of a complete engine rebuild on my 76 mgb.

Matt - that's a great looking B. Had a similar B back around 2004. How'd your family get interested in British cars? My first was a '55 Jaguar MkVII. Great car (but only got 8 mpg).

Historic area where you live!

Hello Tom,
From what my mom has told me they had several Austin Healeys, TR MG Morgan Avanti Mercedes. (copied from her msg)
The main one's I remember are an early 50's Jaguar, 1974 XKE, and several MGB over the years. My uncle ended up with the 50's Jaguar. Him and my grandfather built a rotisserie for it and completely restored it.
My dad had a bug eye Austin Healey he bought as a basket case several years ago. He tried to give it to me but I'd just gotten married and wasn't interested in the project so he sold it. In hindsight I wish I had taken it.
My mgb was actually his and my stepmother gave it to me when he passed away a few years ago.

Thanks Matt. Now that's what I call "all in the family".

Here's our MG area when you're ready to ask (and answer) questions.

good to have you with us.

Welcome to BCF, Matt! Picture looks like it was taken at some historic site?

It was taken at Wilderness Battlefield. Wilderness and Chancellorsville Battlefields are right in my back yard. I hike the battlefield trails all the time.
