Hello, Brian here in Texas. Bought a nice driver TR-4 (CT31369LO) last October and I've really been enjoying all the info on the forum!!

My first car was a '65 TR-4a (solid axle) some 30 years ago, so it's awesome getting back into a TR-4, same color and in MUCH better shape than my old 4a!

i pulled the steering rack to replace the rubber flex joints and rack boots, but other than that I've just been driving it.

I owe this forum a bunch of thanks already for a some great info and I look forward to discussing more,

Brian

Welcome! And, looks great, of course the real question is not whether the new car is in better shape than 30 years ago but whether you are?

Welcome to the BCF Brian! As you already know, you've come to the right place.

I briefly owned an early TR4 - painted dash - a few years ago. It looked just like yours, including color. Sold it at the Bonhams auction in Arizona in 2015. Alas!

Thanks for the pics!

Pay no attention to J-P; we never do.

Love San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country. You've some great roads to explore with the TR, and that overdrive in yours will be fun to play with.

Thanks all! Not sure if I'm in better shape, but my bank account is a bit better now, I can actually afford to do some work on the old gal. PO kept the car up really well so I've been running on his maintenance, but will have to start my own schedule soon....and the OD is awesome.
