Hello, All,
First, let me say that I just found your group and wish I had long ago. You've developed a very informative and user-friendly forum here.
I'm in South Carolina and have a light blue '65 MGB roadster that's been in my family since my Dad bought it new. I've also owned a '61 MGA whose engine I rebuilt, with jcwhitney parts, in the spare bedroom of my apartment of that time (wish I still had that car!). Over the last several years I've been 'chipping away' at the B's minor problems. It's been my fun car, but now with rising fuel prices, I'm considering making the car my daily driver even though it has no a/c or radio (Dad didn't believe in radio).
Philosophically, I prefer to fix rather than replace - I definitely get more satisfaction out of making something work with what's at hand...or maybe I'm just cheap?
Let me apologize in advance for likely having many more questions than answers but perhaps I can supply a few tidbits gleaned over the years.
Thanks,
Jim
